Production Planner

Title: Production PlannerLocation: Grand Island, NEPay: $12-16Duration: 6 Months to 1 yearHours:8pm - 4:30am - 40 hours a week with about 5 to 10 hours of overtime per week depending on job demands.Support the materials team by planning, organizing, maintaining, modifying or developing programs using the master production schedules.
This persons focus would also be in Fabrication / Welding.
* Release work orders as appropriate to fabricate, weld or sub-assemble parts for production and service.
* Review inventory levels daily for proper supply.
* Make Hot orders or back requisitions to replenish stock levels as necessary.
* Adjust for excessive or short inventory, investigate root cause then implement resolution.
* Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy counting plant inventory as well as requesting warehouse cycle counts as needed.
* Release painted part orders as needed to ensure timely painting and delivery of parts.
* Troubleshoot and fix issues associated with painted part delays in the system.
