Business Unit: Supply Chain Requisition Number: 13189 Job Title: Plant ManagerTrainee Associate Function: Manufacturing and Operations Position Location: NE-Lincoln Territory (if applicable): Supply Chain Business Unit: Supply Chain includes facilities and processes that operate to manufacture a finished product from raw material and deliver to the end-user. This business unit enhances competitive advantage, efficiency, innovation, quality and consistency. Position Purpose: As a Trainee in our Animal Feed division, this position will assist in leading the overall activities of the feed plant and to ensure quality products and services are provided to our customers.
Responsibilities include learning all plant processes including maintenance, regulatory compliance including quality and safety programs, human resources activities, and managerial and administrative functions.
Upon completion of the training program, you will be relocated to another feed plant.
Willingness to relocate after the training program is a requirement. Required (Basic) Experience & Education: Four year degree in agriculture, business, engineering or other related degree.

Must be oriented toward process improvement and have demonstrated computer skills. Required Competencies & Other Skills: Dedication to meeting expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers. Ability to gain trust and respect of all associates. Ability to accomplish established goals within agreed timeline. Excellent decision making skills. Communication, Decision Making, Safety Awareness, Quality Orientation, Technical / Professional Knowledge, Customer Focus, Time Management, Applied Learning. Must be oriented toward process improvement and have demonstrated computer skills. Preferred Experience & Education: Some work experience in agricultural related field beneficial. Exposure to feed manufacturing, or general production environment is preferred. Preferred Competencies & Other Skills: High degree of organizational skills.
