Manager, Fuels Procurement (59-379)

The Manager, Fuels Procurement is responsible for negotiating, preparing and administering gas and other fuel supply/purchase contracts.

Essential Job Functions:

Provides technical and commercial support for all domestic and international business development activities relating to fuel type and the subsequent transportation of fuel to power plants
Evaluates sources and reserves, and coordinates with transportation and exchange to maximize efficiency
Reliable, dependable, and predictable attendance is required.  Requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering, economics, finance, or mathematics, or similar degree required
Five to ten years experience negotiating interconnect and transportation contracts with pipelines
Excellent MS Access, Excel, and Visual Basic skills are required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
Detail oriented, analytical mindset and questioning attitude
Proactive approach toward identifying and solving problems, as well as seeking challenging experiences
Strong work ethic, team attitude and willingness to work extended hours as workload requires.
