Travel: Patient Financial Services Supervisor/Mgr.

A Kforce client is looking for a Patient Financial Services Manager that is available for an immediate travel position. This is a full-time contract position. We provide competitive pay and full benefits.

The purpose of this position is to have a working knowledge of all positions in the business office; provide assistance to team members in solving problems within the scope of each job; oversee the charge master; to work with all department managers and their charge sheets; to implement changes in the bill format to accommodate payor requirements and to assist patients with billing disputes.

The Duties and Responsibilities are as Follows:
*Participate in and supervise all patient billing, collection and posting functions
*Maintain a positive public image to patients, hospital, or medical staff
*Assist in developing and maintaining current written policies and procedures for the Department
*Provide guidance and feedback on employee performance through the auditing and screening of work queues
*Monitor third party payments to assure compliance with contracted prices
*Identify staffing needs
*Work with staff to identify, analyze, and correct operational problems with Patient Accounts
*Work with the Director to initiate new systems and develop new processes

Education / Credentials:
*A High School Diploma or equivalent education is preferred
*A Bachelors Degree is preferred

Experience:
*Must have Meditech experience and prior Patient Financial Services experience
*At least three years of experience in the medical billing field is preferred
*Experience in a hospital setting is preferred
*Previous supervisory experience is strongly desired
