Exchange Messaging Architect/Administrator at Omaha

Job Description

Experis is looking for three consultants to support and assist with an upgrade on an Exchange migration from 2007 to 2013. The Consultants will be migrating 55,000 mailboxes globally and will need to have excellent communication skills to speak with internal customers. The project will start immediately and run through the end of December and the consultants will need to be on site in Omaha, NE for the contract and be available for some evening and weekend hours as well.

This position will assist with an Exchange migration from 2007 to Exchange 2013 in a large global environment and provide administration support for Enterprise Messaging Applications. Consultants will provide daily operational support for various infrastructure messaging- related applications providing services to global offices utilizing centralized core services. This position will work closely with the infrastructure Engineering and other Operations teams to administer, monitor the Enterprise Messaging Applications.

Administration of all communication services, to include:
o Microsoft Active Directory
o Microsoft Exchange/Public Folders
o Microsoft Lync
o RightFax
o Blackberry
o PDA support
o WebCargo
o Ironport

Knowledge of Openview and Solorwinds monitoring solutions.
Administrator of Symantec Endpoint Protection centralized enterprise solution.
Work closely with data center and local IT staffs to provide guidance and direction on daily operational requirements of systems as they relate to centralized application services and escalate any issues quickly to the vendors and infrastructure teams.
Act as a resource as needed during critical system outages to provide leadership with diagnosis, escalate as appropriate to management and communicate to other support staff.
Provide effective follow-up and communication of problems as they occur, utilizing Remedy for incident reporting.
Responsible for following IPGs Standard Policies & Procedures in the completion of job duties
Perform On-Call duties in rotation with other administration team members

3+ years working on Exchange Server Environments Exchange 2007 or later must have 2010 experience
Excellent partnering, negotiation and communication skills
In-depth technical knowledge in Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Server
In-depth understanding of Windows Clustering
In-depth understanding/experience of DNS
Intermediate experience with Microsoft AD, Lync systems
Intermediate experience with Rightfax, Blackberry, PDA support
Intermediate experience with Windows IIS
