National Account Executive - West (RR) at Omaha

Job Description

General Summary
Sells into and manages a small group of large accounts, including both current and prospective customers. Targeted accounts should include large, multi-national, complex decision making accounts with annual telecom budgets of over $10M. Management of the accounts includes selling all of Windstream products and services as well as managing the relationships and the revenue of each customer. Compensation is directly associated with the success of growing the revenue base; quarter over quarter and year over year.

Job Responsibilities
> Develops strategic sales plans designed to drive business across the entire enterprise of the assigned National Accounts. Detailed plans are intended to sell deep and wide into the account.
> Serves as the primary interface between all levels of the customer and Windstream allowing for proper communications flow between all parties involved in the sale.
> Generates new business opportunities through a variety of methods including: trade shows, industry events and customer meetings across their entire enterprise, and relationship building to build a funnel that meets or exceeds established quarterly and annual funnel and revenue requirements.
> Partners with customers through strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business needs, issues, strategies, and priorities to deliver a value-adding business solution. Utilizes Windstream provided training to establish and continually update our position within each customer and prospect.
> Develops and maintains positive relationships with prospects, customers, and internal resources. Understands the dynamics of prospective and customer organizations to appropriately align with key decision makers and decision influencers.
> Collaborates with internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to winning new business and increasing penetration in existing customers within a defined account list.
> Continually enhances product and service knowledge by keeping current on Windstream products and services through ongoing training provided through internal resources and understand how it applies to prospective business opportunities.
> Serves as the team quarterback to provide a higher level of service otherwise provided to Windstream commercial clients. Coordinates National Account team members to achieve a specified objective including: new sales, network deployment, billings, credits and customer service.
*50% or more travel required.

Minimum Requirements
College degree or equivalent and 8 years related experience or 12+ years combination
