Print Process Technician Graphics 3rd ShiftSUMMARY: Administers structured formal Hands-On training to Production personnel in the Print Department by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs, Oversees & Trains all Types Press Proofs and coordinates them with Scheduling.
Performs, Oversees & Trains Registration Plate Alignment.
Performs, Oversees & Trains Zeroing out Press adjustments
Performs, Oversees & Trains Fingerprinting Procedure.
Develops and trains Cell Leads
Trains Level A & B Operators Evaluations for all Types of Printing Presses.
Ensures proper documentation is completed for all training activities.
Completes the documentation required to record the progress of assigned trainees.
Develops and maintains training schedules and guidelines.
Reports on progress of shift employees under guidance during training periods.
Assists in the development of training plans, printed manuals, and other materials.
Ensures shift personnel utilized for training activities are qualified and have the aptitude/ability to train others successfully.
Provides and/or coordinates effective training methods, techniques and ideas to all shift employees.
Evaluates and documents technical skills to meet requirements for performance, to include safety, quality and efficiency.
Audit and assess shift employees to determine skill proficiencies.
Implements training procedures and programs that leads to the on-going success and advancement of shift employees.
Maintains company attendance standards
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
Or one year to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job monitors/reports the training progression for all levels of shift employees.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports in English. Ability to speak effectively with company employees and supervisors in English.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Basic computer skills that includes word processing, spreadsheet and internet software.
Upholds and supports organizational goals and values.
Take the initiative to ask for and offer help when needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; climb or balance; and stoop and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, the risk of electrical shock and exposure to extreme molten plastic temperature. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
