Test Technician at La Vista

Job Description

Successful international company is looking for an entry level Test Technician to join their team.  This position requires a lot of field work and travel.  This person will test and validate (functional test and durability test) of Companys Tractors in North America and Internationally.

 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·  Conduct field and lab test activities

·  Diagnose and repair test tractors

·  Perform instrumented tests in lab and in the field

·   Present test results to Engineering group using both written and verbal communication

OTHER FUNCTIONS

·  Technical exchange with other Companys Engineering groups

·  Support local content design and validation activities

·  Other duties as assigned by management

 

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

· Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering preferred, but not required

· Ag. Mechanization Systems experience or equivalent preferred

· Familiar with agricultural equipment and harvesting practices

· Passion for tractor development

· Vehicle field and lab testing experience is desirable

· Farm background desirable

· Must be capable to operate prototype shop machine tools including welding

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

· Valid driver license

· Must have or capability to achieve CDL

· Must be able to operate fork truck

· Proficient computer use including remote connection, email, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel

· Willingness to travel up to 50% time

· Must have valid passport

· Fluency in French and or Spanish languages a plus

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent problem analysis and problem solving skills

Tractor experience is preferred.
