As our Paraprofessional in our Day School, you will provide general assistance and support to teachers. You will also be responsible for assisting teachers with both instructional and behavioral management duties as well as managing the attendance desk. Additionally, you will assist teachers in the implementation of the Boys Town Education model and conduct follow-up lessons that are initiated by teachers. You will also help to provide students with assistance on in-class work and be of assistance in preparing student assignments and in grading student work. You may be asked to provide student with feedback on graded work and assists students with corrections to class work, as well as providing teachers with assistance when teaching to large groups of students.
To be considered for this unique opportunity you will need:

• High School Diploma or the equivalent of.
• Highly detail oriented and able to work in a team environment
• A strong desire to work with an at-risk youth population in an educational setting.
• Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute.
