Job Classification: Direct Hire TEKsystems has partnered with a client in the Omaha market for a position as a Sr. Systems Engineer specifically supporting their WebSphere middleware. This is a direct hire position, and is located on-site in Omaha, NE (no remote work available). Overview: The Sr. Systems Engineer will provide installation, configuration and support for all middleware infrastructure, working with a variety of development and infrastructure teams to deliver application solutions. - Ensure Middleware environment is implemented to company requirements and standards. - Provide technical assistance, responding to production on-call responsibilities, in resolving middleware issues across the enterprise. - Assist in investigating and recommending solutions to meet business needs. Requirements:- Minimum 3 years experience with enterprise middleware java application environments. Experience will include environment setup, configuration, application deployments and migration. - Proven skill with security, clustering, multi-tier application configurations, monitoring and dump analysis as it pertains to Java and Middleware applications. - Ability to work independently yet maintain good communication across other team members, management and customers.
