Job Description
Job Summary:
- Ensures successful operation (functional, operational and procedural) of specific application areas supported by ITS, including data quality, education and end-user support.
- Supervises projects including the coordination of resources and provides support on related application projects.
- Supervises staff including daily oversight of normal operations, mentoring, issues management, assignments and routine communication.
Essential Duties:
- Work with the Integration Team and C# Development team on assigned projects
- Day to day supervision to insure task deliverables for projects are on time
- Resource allocation and the initial escalation point for assigned resources
- Insured that defined standard processes are followed for analysis and software development
- Attend meetings with other functional groups to engage in project related discussion around integration
- Work with Integration PMs or Application PMs to ensure assigned resources complete tasks timely as reflected in Project Plan(s)
- Assist Integration Manager with estimate analysis for newly identified projects and project work
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with Application staff in managing and coordinating daily operations for the team.
- Confers with management regarding hiring decisions and counseling, including disciplinary action.
Job Requirements
Education:- Bachelors Degree in related field or may substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Experience in supporting and/or managing healthcare applications (Clinical, Patient Management, ERP, Enterprise, Web, etc) is preferred.
- 7 years total IT/application experience required.
- Ability to manage work effort on multiple project deliverables
- Strong documentation / specification abilities
- Highly preferred, but not required background / experience
- Some object oriented development background
- Familiar with SDLC concepts
- Familiar with ITIL
- Integration experience background, preferably in a healthcare organization
- Experience in a large, multi-entity organization at the enterprise level
- Working experience with HL7 data structures
- None required.
