We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to deliver dry ice loads while being conscience of the environment and taking all safety precautions necessary to ensure that the shipment is delivered securely and on time. You will check all load-related documentation to ensure that the job is done completely and accurately and that the customer is satisfied with the transport. Job Responsibilities:
As a Truck Driver for Continental Carbonic Products, you will follow all the appropriate safety procedures for the transportation of dry ice. You will also check the truck to ensure that all mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in acceptable order before a haul.
Additional requirements for the Truck Driver include:
- Obtaining receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collecting payment for services when required
- Securing cargo for transport using equipment provided to prevent shifting
- Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations or any damage to the vehicles
- Reading bills of lading to determine assignment details
- Maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned
- United States Delivery Region East of the Rocky Mountains
Job Requirements:
As a Truck Driver for Continental Carbonic Products, you must exercise good preventative maintenance on your truck before, throughout and after a haul. Furthermore, you must also have good communication and people skills as you will interact with customers upon delivery of your load.
Additional requirements that the Truck Driver must adhere to include:
- CDL Class A licensure
- Minimum 2 years experience in the type of truck that youre going to hire into or 6 months experience with certification of accredited driving training
- Ability to pass the DOT Drivers Physical
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screening and criminal background check
- Possessing a good driving record
- Being knowledgeable about basic computer functions and GPS

$1500 HIRING BONUS PAID AS FOLLOWS:
$500 - paid upon start
$500 paid after 90 days
$500 paid after 120 days
- Up to $0.42 per mile for singles which includes $0.02 for hazardous and tanker endorsements; plus stop pay average 2500 miles per week
- Up to $0.50 per mile for teams (split) which includes up to $0.02 (split) for hazardous and tanker endorsement; plus stop pay average 6,000 miles per week with priority dispatch for teams
