Job Description

The successful candidate has the ability to perform the following:

• Effectively generate cost-conscious, practical estimates in an efficient manner
• Optimizing material and production processes
• Minimization of dies and determination of amortization costs
• Calculation and optimization of freight all freight related issues
• Ensuring material and conversion costs are correctly applied
• Verify that non-production costs are assigned and applied correctly
• Determine optimal packing specifications and create materials in system
• Assist and verify pricing and margins are accurate based on contracts, stand alone or historical data
• Evaluate production over/under run cost implications
• Calculate and verify special material costs and amortization requirements
• Other applicable estimating considerations

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Attributes:

• Proven ability to manipulate & express numerical abstract patterns in three dimensional perspective
• Effective and clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
• Enjoys a fast paced work environment with a variety of opportunities to problem solve and implement continuous improvement solutions
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and sense of urgency
• Ability to understand the broad view and scope of our core business
• B.A./B.S. in Mathematics or relevant degree
• 2 to 5 years general business experience
