Job Classification: Contract Position Description: 5+ YEARS EXP. Design and develop software in a Java/JEE environment. Responsibilities require the ability to recognize software problems, develop creative solutions for simple to complex tasks, and to manage multiple tasks and apply corrective actions within a fast paced environment. Applicant should have good enterprise application/development/architecture skills including knowledge of model driven development, common presentation frameworks, proper layering/separation of responsibility techniques. Applicant should also have a thorough understanding of software development lifecycle. The candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be responsive to customer needs and expectations.Specific Skills we are looking for:Java EE SW development experience. Good understanding of Java EE design patterns and Java EE best practices. Experience with Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, Java Server Pages, and Flash.Experience developing SOA based applications including Web Services engines (e.g. Apache Axis). Experience with Application Servers (e.g. Oracle Weblogic, Tomcat). Experience with rich presentation layer, strong comprehension of UI, JavaScript/JQuery, Eclipse, Maven 2, JUnit. SSolid understanding of software development lifecycle processes, with emphasis on agile development.Experience with MagicDraw, Crucible, Fisheye, Subversion, JIRA.Experience with Oracle Service Bus.
